Turners Oak isn't your typical estate agency. Many of our clients haven't moved for over 30 years. We take time to get to know you and your home. We work through the positives and challenges of your current circumstances and act as consultants to help unpick the emotional, practical and logistical considerations involved with moving in later life.

We work with others supporting people moving in later life - from financial advisors to decluttering and packing specialists - so that we can offer a complete service that meets your needs. We will happily liaise with and involve family members if you instruct us to do so and also support those ageing without children.
We are affiliates of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and follow guidance from Solicitors for the Elderly as well as undertaking vulnerability and dementia friendly training. Care home providers
Moving into a care home often comes at a crisis point. We provide timely, empathetic, practical and solutions-based advice to clients and their families when they need to sell a home because of a move into a care home.
We work with care home providers to relieve as much of the stress from our clients and their families as possible. We understand that some clients are funding their care through the Deferred Payment Scheme and focus on achieving the best price from the best buyer in a timely manner for our clients.
We can work with decluttering specialists and use creative marketing such as CGIs to best present a property if it has been recently vacated.
We understand the importance of keeping everyone updated with progress and work with clients and their families (with permission or relevant attorney powers) to ensure they have peace of mind when it comes to the sale of their home.

Others in the later living sector
Our mission is to become the trusted adviser and estate agent for older homeowners and their families - and, by extension, those working with them.
There are many organisations - both NFPs and For Profits - working with those in later life. From equity release companies to home care providers and organisations like The Centre for Ageing Better. We value being part of this sector and believe that by working collaboratively together we can make lives better.
The growing older population and the lack of suitable support and housing is a societal issue. We have a responsibility as part of society to do something about it. We commit to donating a percentage of our profits and turnover to charities supporting those in later life with housing and lifestyle needs. We work with other stakeholders in this space to advocate for older home owners and their right to flourish, and support voluntary organisations improving the lives of those in later life.
